The fair will celebrate 78 seasons of family fun with live music including the annual Southern Gospel Program (6 pm Thursday), midway rides, Tiger Encounter show, a petting farm, animal barns, magic shows, pageants, community exhibits, displays, educational booths, vendors and favorite fair food. Admission is $8 (free for kids under 36" tall). Unlimited ride wristbands are $25.
