Charles Braxton is The Journey’s Hometown Hero!
He was nominated by Brooks Bryant. Here’s the letter:
Mr. Braxton worked at our local elementary school where he was the janitor. He loved on each and every child while he was there. It’s been years since my kids were in school and he would collect each child’s date of birth, and their address as well as their parents DOB and Anniversary dates.
He currently (even after my kids have been gone for years) sends them a birthday card each year (along with a small gift) and even on our anniversary, took the time to not only send us a card but a box of chocolates and some copied pages from a devotional book.
I haven’t seen Mr. Braxton in years but the thought (and postage money, prayers, etc) that he puts into our community to let people know that someone cares for them and that GOD cares for them, means alot!
So I would like to nominate Charles Braxton as the next Journey Hometown Hero!
